Lindsey A. Bannerman
Principle Attorney, Certified Family Law Specialist
Known for her direct and open communication with her clients, Lindsey is approachable and knowledgeable, having become a Certified Family Law Specialist, as certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization in 2011. A graduate of the University of Wyoming College of Law, and University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Communications and Social Science, Lindsey loves assisting people in legal matters and walking them through the process.
Her perfect chocolate chip cookie is a browned butter, soft on the inside crisp on the outside, semi-sweet cookie. She contends that nuts should never be in cookies, ever.
Kevin has a direct communication style and is an exceptional litigator. Kevin is well-known in the Stanislaus and San Joaquin courts as an attorney who cares about his clients and knows the law inside and out. Super Lawyers has recognized Kevin as a Rising Star Lawyer every year from 2015 to 2021. Obtaining his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from UCLA, Kevin enjoys finding the best solution to any legal issue facing his clients.
What’s his favorite type of chocolate cookies, you ask? “Well, the free ones from Mr. Pickle’s after a sandwich, of course.”
Peggy is known for her compassionate and no-nonsense communication with clients. Named Class Valedictorian, Peggy earned a Juris Doctor from Humphreys College, School of Law. She has spent most of her career as a devoted servant to the public as a Deputy District Attorney and as a Civil Attorney for the Stanislaus Family Justice Center. She enjoys helping people navigate through the legal process to obtain the best possible outcome for their case.
Her favorite chocolate chip cookie is semi-sweet, warm out-of-the oven, with a chewy inside and a little crisp on the outside.
Michael is a focus-driven paralegal with a knowledge of the legal process that cannot be matched. Clients enjoy working with Michael and appreciate her ability to explain the status of any matter in easy to understand terms. She is dedicated to her work and takes pride in assisting clients at every stage of their legal proceeding. A graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Communications, Michael received a Paralegal Certificate from the University of the Pacific.
Michael’s idea of the best chocolate chip cookie is to keep is simple and use good dark chocolate. Crispy, melty and chewy at the same time, the perfect balance.

Verenisse is a detail-oriented paralegal with exceptional customer service experience that supports our families in transition. She has a tremendous ability to manage deadlines and communication. She keeps clients informed throughout the handling of their cases and works hard to make her clients feel comfortable and confident. She obtained her Bachelors Degree in Legal Studies from Humphreys University, where she also obtained her Paralegal Certificate.

AJ works hard to break down the legal process to provide clarity to our clients in the status and next steps in their cases. Before joining the Law Offices of Lindsey A. Bannerman, AJ worked for the City of New York conducting impartial Investigations into police/civilian interactions and as a legal advocate for survivors of Family, Domestic, and Intimate Partner Violence. He uses his extensive interviewing experience and strong communication skills to get a comprehensive understanding of all the circumstances, needs, and wants of our clients. AJ graduated from New York University earning a Bachelors Degree in Comparative Literature with a concentration in Law and Society.
His idea of the best chocolate chip cookie includes the use of chocolate wafers instead of chips, added browned butter, and a touch of flakey salt on top.
Sherri is dedicated to supporting our clients as they navigate all manner of legal challenges. With over 40 years of experience working in various areas of the law, we are lucky to have her as a member of our firm. Throughout her years, she has found the area of family law to be her favorite. She truly enjoys being in a position to help guide our clients and their families through the complex legal system.
Sherri’s ideal chocolate chip cookie is soft with very few chocolate chips.
Britney is enthusiastic about preparing quality, detailed, and organized work for her clients. She takes pride in knowing her work is helping families in transition. She has approximately 17 years experience in the legal field, the majority being in Family Law. Britney graduated from California State University, Stanislaus with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies.

Simona has lived and worked in Stanislaus County over 30 years. She has three lovely daughters and three cherished grandchildren. Simona has served her community for many years through a number of local non-profits within Stanislaus County. As the Office Manager, she strives to provide excellent customer service for clients and an efficient and positive work environment for staff. Simona graduated from California State University, Stanislaus with a Bachelor’s degree in History.
Her idea of a perfect chocolate chip cookie is the classic Toll house recipe with mini-chocolate chips.
Intake Specialist & Technology Coordinator
Mariel is passionate about making the intake process as smooth as possible for our incoming clients and about finding the best suited technologies to improve the workflows of everyone in the office. A graduate of New York University, Mariel left a career in academic research in neuroscience to pursue the study of user experience design. She uses her skills in understanding the choices people make when using technology to facilitate a better overall experience for our team and clientele.
She is partial to a chocolate chip cookie recipe that can be found on Bon Appetit’s website, using chocolate wafers, browned butter, and flakey salt.
