In connection with your upcoming consultation with Modesto Family Law, please be advised of the following:

Recording & Transcription Notice

California law (Penal Code § 632) requires the consent of all parties before a confidential communication may be recorded or transcribed. By proceeding with your scheduled consultation without opting out as described below, you consent to the use of an AI-powered transcription tool during your consultation. This tool will generate a written transcript of your conversation for internal use by Modesto Family Law.

How Your Transcript Is Used

Transcripts are used solely for the purpose of maintaining accurate notes of your consultation. They are stored securely and treated as confidential. Transcripts are not sold, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose unrelated to your legal matter.

Your Right to Opt Out

Your participation is entirely voluntary. If you do not wish to have your consultation transcribed, you may opt out at any time before your consultation begins by replying to this email with the subject line or message: “No Transcription.” We will honor your preference without any impact on your consultation or legal representation.

If you opt out, no transcription will be made. Notes may still be taken manually by Modesto Family Law staff.
